SCOPE Metrics™ enables users who use other tools (eg. Spreadsheets) for function point counting to perform analytical reporting and ISBSG benchmarking of their project data and maintenance and support data. SCOPE Metrics™ can be upgraded to full function point capability at any time.

SCOPE Lite™designed specifically individuals and organizations that need to count function points cost effectively but do not want to make a large financial investment into function point counting tools. Total Metrics worked in affiliation with the International Benchmarking Standards organization (ISBSG) to ensure that SCOPE complies with ISBSG Standards in its collection and reporting of your IT metrics Development and Maintenance and Support data. The SCOPE CONNECT™ add-on for SCOPE 4.0 allows you to interactively benchmark  your IT performance with latest Industry ISBSG data via a WWW portal utilizing the latest semantics technology. SCOPE models and quantifies software project functionality, for input into project estimates, productivity comparisons and client scope negotiations. SCOPE 4.0 enables users to selectively assign selective project delivery rates (PDRs) to project different functionality to estimate project delivery effort hours. It provides 'earned value reporting' by enabling the project manager to monitor the 'level of completeness' of project functionality compared to the budgeted level of completeness. These are just two examples of the new 'quantification' capability (Numerical Attributes feature) which can be customized to enable you to report any FP scaling factor you can think of . For example, you can assign different $costs/FP to configure package functionality compared to building it or just 'turning it on', apply 're-use' factors to get a better indication of the number of function points that you needing to develop.

SCOPE is the only functional size measurement software to provide a quantified audit trail of requirement's changes and quantify rework.
